Kycon has launched a USB 2.0 Type A receptacle that the
company claims is highly suitable for designs with space constraints. The KUSBVLPX series

The low-profile vertical-mount
receptacles from Kycon are 10 mm high and come with standard gold-flash-plated
contacts, and they are available with either black or white insulators. The USB
connectors also feature through-hole contacts and UL 94 V-0 rated thermoplastic.
